How it Began

Our journey in Eswatini began in 2005, marked by an immediate love for the country and its people. It became evident to us that Eswatini was where we belonged, and we fostered lasting friendships and witnessed numerous blessings. During our time there, we would sit atop a large rock, contemplating the prospect of establishing a ministry on the land we saw before us. With faith, we prayed for the provision of this land.

In a providential encounter on a mountain road, a gentleman known to our hosts stopped and offered us land for our envisioned ministry, a proposal that resonated deeply with our prayers. Despite limited initial acquaintance, we forged a meaningful connection through subsequent correspondence and acquaintanceship via email and social media.

Upon departing Eswatini, we departed with heavy hearts, convinced that our initial arrival was part of a divine plan and anticipating our eventual return.

Years later, while pursuing advanced studies in nursing, a Facebook post by the gentleman who had offered us land caught our attention. Astonishingly, he was wanting to lease out the same land we had fervently prayed for. Despite the cost being beyond our means, we committed the matter to prayer. Miraculously, the very next day, a check arrived in the mail covering the exact amount required to secure the land.

In 2023, due to what we believe were divinely orchestrated circumstances, we returned to Eswatini. This marked the establishment of Africa Mountain Mission, a testament to God's guidance and provision.

The journey underscores the pivotal role of faith, prayer, and obedience to divine guidance. Despite challenges, including financial uncertainties, our trust in God's plan and timing never wavered.

We gratefully acknowledge and praise the Lord for His steadfast faithfulness throughout our journey. May His hand continue to guide our calling in Eswatini.
