Africa Mountain Mission recognizes a critical need in the nation that demands urgent attention: the protection and support of female victims of violence.

When women face violence, they often find themselves with nowhere to turn. 

Africa Mountain Mission is embarking on a transformative initiative to establish a Women's Shelter and Resource Center. Loving Hearts Women's Shelter will serve as a sanctuary, offering comprehensive support and care for women escaping abusive situations.

Our vision for Loving Hearts Women's Shelter includes: 

• Private residences for each lady and her young children, ensuring safety and privacy.

• A classroom dedicated to skill training, empowering women with the tools they need for financial independence.

• A fully equipped kitchen and dining hall to provide nutritious meals.

• A comfortable lounge area for relaxation and community-building.

• A library for a peaceful place to read or study.  

• On-site counseling by a dedicated counselor, offering daily support and guidance.

• An onsite clinic to meet urgent care needs for the women and their children.

• Sustainable agriculture initiatives including a vegetable garden, greenhouse, and fruit trees to promote health and self-sufficiency.

• Additional facilities such as a guest home and staff housing.
